Bluetooth Computer Headsets - Enjoy Wireless Freedom

Wireless Computer Headsets

Till recently, few options were available to people interested in using cordless headsets with their computers. Dedicated wireless Headsets are available, however they often cost upwards of $200 US putting them out of reach of the average user.

Bluetooth Headsets

Cellular telephone users have long embraced the benefits of Bluetooth Technology for use with their handsets. One of the more popular Bluetooth devices available to Cell phone users are Bluetooth Headsets. Although Bluetooth Headsets were initially quite expensive, the average price has dropped considerably in recent years bringing them within reach of millions of people.

Aside from using Bluetooth Headsets with Cellular Telephones, Bluetooth Headsets can be used just as effectively with computers. All one needs to do is make their computer 'Bluetooth Enabled' and the procedures involved in using the Bluetooth Headset with a computer compare with those used for cellular telephones.

Bluetooth Computer Headsets

There are literally hundreds of different Cellular Telephone Bluetooth Headsets available on the market. Any of these Headsets will work with your computer however end-users are anxiously awaiting the introduction of dedicated Bluetooth Computer Headsets. Although they haven't hit the market at time of writing, rumours and press releases hint at the imminent arrival of dedicated Bluetooth Computer Headsets.

Price

Initially, one can anticipate that Bluetooth Computer Headsets will be relatively expensive when compared to their 'corded' couterparts. However, as with most computer-related hardware, the price should drop once additional manufacturers release Bluetooth Computer Headsets and competition thrives.

Logically, one could also anticipate that Bluetooth Computer Headsets will be less expensive to manufacture than their cellular telephone headset counterparts due primarily to the fact that a far lesser degree of miniturization will be required. Whereas cellular telephone Bluetooth Headsets are designed to be portable, Bluetooth Computer Headsets will likely be designed primarily for comfort, audio quality and range. Lesser miniturization generally results in lower manufacturing costs which hopefully will be passed on to the consumer.

Expectations

So what can one expect from a Bluetooth Computer Headset? Ideally they'll be light-weight, comfortable, incorporate an integrated boom microphone, be capable of stereo sound and above all, be realistically priced. Furthermore, Bluetooth Computer Headsets should be simple to install/use and boast an operating range that encompasses the average user's home or office.

Provided these basic requirements are met, Bluetooth Computer Headsets should prove extremely popular once released and we await their arrival with eager anticipation.

Selecting Your Mesothelioma Attorney or Law Firm

As with anything in life, when looking for legal assistance to claim compensation for asbestos injury you want to get the best legal advice available. This is particularly true with legal cases involving an injury such as mesothelioma, where millions of dollars in compensation could be at stake. Selecting the right mesothelioma lawyer could make a big difference to the success of your lawsuit, and also the amount of compensation you receive as settlement for your injury.

The first thing you need to look for in a mesothelioma lawyer is experience. The rise in mesothelioma cases coming to light has seen a boom in the number of specialist mesothelioma lawyers in operation, and these skilled professionals have built up established links to help with many aspects of your mesothelioma lawsuit. An experienced mesothelioma lawyer will have the necessary knowledge, experience, contacts and resources to put together a solid case and increase your chances of success.

Using an experienced mesothelioma lawyer will also enable you to check the law firms' track record when it comes to success rate with mesothelioma cases. Before you make any commitment to a lawyer or law firm, you should check how many mesothelioma cases the firm or lawyer has dealt with in the past, and how many of these have been successful. A good, experienced mesothelioma lawyer will be happy to answer these questions for you. Some lawyers will even be able to give you an idea for the figures involved with their successful cases, although they won't be able to divulge information about the plaintiff for confidentiality reasons.

When looking for the right mesothelioma lawyer, you should also look into the firm's fee structure. Many mesothelioma lawyers now operate on a contingency fee basis, which means that you will only pay a fee for legal assistance if and when you are awarded compensation. This payment structure offers peace of mind, enabling you to pursue legal action without the worry of ending up with huge legal bills even if you do not get compensation for your illness.

Make sure that you feel comfortable with the lawyer that you select, as you will need to be completely honest and frank with your mesothelioma lawyer in order to maximize the chances of a successful lawsuit. Even if you choose a law firm that states that they specialize in mesothelioma cases, make sure that you also check on the experience of the specific lawyer assigned to your case, as this will ensure that you get someone that has the skills and knowledge necessary to help you get compensation.

By taking the time to find the right mesothelioma lawyer to deal with your case, you can benefit from assistance from a specialist that has the connections and knowledge to maximize your chances of success. You can also benefit from a no-win no-fee payment structure, which means that you won't have to pay for the legal service if the mesothelioma lawyer is unsuccessful in securing you compensation. However, if you opt for a mesothelioma lawyer that has plenty of experience within this particular field, you can reduce the chances of your lawsuit failing and increase the chances of getting a substantial sum of compensation for your injury.

MesotheliomaFirms.com offers listings of experienced mesothelioma attorneys and asbestos law firms as well as mesothelioma information and articles. To find a mesothelioma attorney or law firm, visit http://www.MesotheliomaFirms.com.

Golfing in South Africa The Vacation of a Lifetime

Have you ever considered Southern Africa for a golfing vacation? If you haven't, you may want to. South Africa offers some wonderful golfing, and as you can probably imagine, many other things to visit and explore when the golfing is done. But back to the golfing for a moment. South Africa has many world class golf courses (over fifteen to be exact) for you to enjoy. And the year round good weather doesn't hurt anything either. And how about when the golfing is over for the day? Or you want to take a day or so and see what South Africa has to offer (and you will)?

Robben Island this island is a must-see for anyone visiting South Africa. This is where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for decades because of his views during the Apartheid era. Former inmates take visitors on tours of the island now.

Beaches South Africa boasts more than 3000 km of coastline for a person to enjoy. There are some of the most beautiful beaches that you've ever seen.

Namaqualand every spring, the Northern Cape comes alive with huge fields of daisies. The vivid color is absolutely beautiful. Fed by winter rains, the flower grounds of Namaqualand become a must see fro anyone carrying a camera.

Table Mountain Table Mountain is home to South Africa's most breathtaking views. You can take a guided walk up one of the many trails, or simply ride the cable car to the top. No visit to Cape Town will be complete without a visit to Table Mountain.

Cradle of Humankind The cradle of humankind includes the Sterkfintein Caves, where anthropologist Dr. Robert Broom discovered the skull of Mrs. Ples, a 3-million year old humanoid, in 1936. At the time of discovery, she was thought to be evidence of the 'missing link'.

Kruger National Park This is the greatest of South Africa's national parks and attracts the greatest number of visitors. You can go on a guided walk or drive yourself; the choice is up to you. This is one of the places that visitors have the best chance of seeing one of the Big Five animals. Elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, and buffalo are all abundant within the park. Seeing as how witnessing one of these animals in the wild is a once in a lifetime experience, Krueger National Park should be a place you visit.

The Drakensberg Mountains This mountain range is an adventure tourist's playground. The range is also great for nature photography, and easy walking. There are also challenging peaks and majestic waterfalls throughout the Drakensberg range. The view will compete with anything you've seen anywhere in the world.

With all of this to do other than golf, you may be thinking will I even have time to golf? Of course you will, and you won't be disappointed in the least. South Africa has some of the most beautiful and challenging courses that you'll find anywhere. Hopefully you'll keep it in mind as a destination for your next golf getaway.

Quality Alternative To High Priced Boats

Were you aware of the fact that a boat doesn't have to cost tends of thousands of dollars? For a long time I surely wasn't, and just assumed that having a quality boat was not a possibility for me. Then I came across some quality alternatives to high priced boats. Of course these quality boats don't compare to a high priced cabin cruiser or bass boat that goes 75 miles per hour, but these alternatives are great for those of us who just want to enjoy our favorite river of lake, and don't want to take out a loan in the process. No matter what type of water activity you enjoy there are quality alternatives to high priced boats.

Many of these quality alternatives are inflatable, and before you start thinking of children's' play toys, let me explain. I'm referring to quality inflatable boats. Quality meaning that they can stand up to being pounded on with a hammer! And quality meaning that they can stand up to class IV rapids. I also emphasize the word quality because if you choose a reputable company they will offer you a free trail period to see what you think. This way you can decide for yourself. Only companies that make quality boats will offer these types of trials.

There are many different types of quality inflatable boats available, from kayaks to pontoon boats. There are even small sailboats available that inflate for easy use. No matter what type of water activity you enjoy, there is probably an inflatable option for you to choose from. What about convenience? Inflatable boats are amazingly convenient. Imagine being able to carry your boat in the trunk of your car, and then being able to inflate it wherever you would like? The convenience of quality inflatable boats is difficult to beat, there's little doubt about that.

Whatever you do, keep in mind that there are alternatives to high priced boats, and if you do a little investigation you might be able to find just what you need for a fraction of what you thought.

Grassroots Marketing Campaign

Many people, in a rush to spike sales through the roof, think too big and end up completely missing out on one of the best free marketing opportunities on the net: discussion forums. Instead of focusing on individual sales, they go immediately for ads that promise thousands of visitors, pay-per-click search engines that could potentially expose them to thousands, and even sloppily-produced and sometimes fraudulent spam submission programs.

Even though it is essential to increase your rating with search engines, to purchase pay-per-clicks, and to participate in link exchanges and banner exchanges, discussion forums can often provide an extra, non-conventional sales medium to your campaign that allows you to quickly pull in customers with personal contact and conversational presentations of your product.

You can find these boards by searching for the specific product you sell and then adding the word messageboard or forum or discussion forum after it in quotations. For instance, I sell marketing tools and online business-builders on one of my websites, so when I look for forums to market my products in, I go to google or overture and type in business messageboard or marketing forum. Find as many of these highly-trafficked forums as you can and sign-up. Some of them will require you to confirm it through your email address.

Before you begin actually posting on the boards, you need to lay down some general rules of approach. I would suggest the following methods, but you can decide for yourself what you think is appropriate for your business and situation.

These are my rules:

When I market on discussion forums, I always try to provide more for the board than I take away from it in potential sales. Not only is it ethical, but its also good business. When people ask questions, I use the expertise Ive gained from Internet business-building and marketing to legitimately answer their questions. If I signed up for every board I could find, and then slapped a boilerplate marketing pitch on every site, Id just get ignored or banned.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to legitimately get involved with the forum community. It is definitely a goldmine for highly-targeted customers and it is possibly the fastest marketing medium on the Internet, but it is also very important to respect that it doesnt primarily serve as an ad host. If you stay low-key and helpful, people will respect your opinion more and will want to see what you have to offer. This is where your signature comes in...

When you create your account for most boards, they will give you the option of creating a signature, which they will attach to the bottom of every post you make. This is the best way to pull customers from messageboards--by alluring them with your signature. Write something catchy or intriguing and then slap a link to your site or email address on it. Remember: the more helpful you are (the more times you post advice/hints), the more times your signature appears... and the more potential hits youll get to your site.

Next, youll want to decide when its appropriate to market outside of your signature. I personally only market in three situations outside of my signature in forum discussions. If a person asks a question about a specific product or service I market, then Ill respond because Im qualified to do so and because I truly believe they should use my products to achieve the best possible results. If theres a discussion thread where everyone is marketing products and it is generally accepted, I will market my product if a) it is related and b) I have already posted several times on the messageboard. Also, I will market my product whenever there is a forum solely dedicated to marketing your products.

Last, youll want to decide how much original content you want to post and how much you want to be boilerplate. Youll want to find a healthy combination of the two to avoid being called a spammer or wasting too much time marketing on forums. I personally have several boilerplate ads that I have saved for signature files, ad-only forums, and personal product marketing discussions. I keep them all saved on a word file and I pull them up to copy-and-paste when Im spending a night of advertising on messageboards.

Discussion forums can drive buying customers to your site faster than any other marketing medium. Do not abuse them, establish a reputation in your forums, streamline the process. . . and your work will come back to you quickly in profit.

Property Insurance Claims Help - Dealing With Your Insurance Company

Any time you have property damage to your residence, you have to go through your Insurance Company to recover money for your losses and to rebuild what was lost. If you are like a large sum of property owners, you walked away with a check from your insurance company with barely enough funds to cover half of the work that has to be done to get your home back in shape.

This happens because of a couple of reasons. The first reason this happens is because of the nature of the Insurance Industry. They are in business to make money. They also hire their own Insurance Adjusters to estimate the amount of property damage you have to your home and how much it will cost to fix it. Since the Insurance Adjuster in this case works for the insurance company, you have nobody that is evaluating the damage with your thoughts in mind.

The second reason that Insurance Companies underpay their property owners is simply because the average property owner doesn't know any better. They see the insurance company and their Adjuster doing work, and when they come up with a payment number, it is automatically accepted that this is how much they should be paid for the damage.

A little known fact is that all property owners can choose their own contractors and get multiple bids on conducting repairs to their home. You do not have to take the lowest estimate of the bunch. The lowest estimate could mean the work will also be the lowest quality. You, as a property owner, have the option of selecting the contractor with the highest estimate if you choose, and that is what the insurance company has to go by.

The problem with this option is that the average property owner doesn't know how to go about this process. It can be very tedious, overwhelming, and plain confusing. The good news is that you can get an Insurance Adjuster that works strictly for the policy holder and has only your interests at heart. This type of Adjuster is referred to as Public Adjuster. A Public Adjusters responsibility is to work with and for the policy holder and to get every penny they deserve out of the insurance company. Property damage claims that are handled by a Public Adjuster include fire, wind, water, flood, hurricane, theft and many others.

In many states, a property damage claim can be reopened up to five years after it was claimed. If you feel that you were underpaid by your insurance company on a past insurance claim, a Certified Public Adjuster can help you recover those extra funds.

Adam Woodrow is a Homeowner and Webmaster for www.USALoss.com Public Adjusters helping homeowners collect on underpaid insurance claims. Half of homeowners are underpaid and don't even know it.

Every Kid Can Dress Like A Celebrity's Kid

Just like the adult fashion world, kid clothing trends follow not only what the celebrities are wearing but also what their kids are wearing. Celebrities spend enormous amounts of money on fashion for their children as well as their pets, so it can be expected that designers are catering to that demand. For most people, some of the outfits are far too expensive, but not all of these styles are unaffordable. There are many boutiques both in-store and online providing the latest in celebrity trends at moderate prices. Here is a short fashion preview to help in the search for great kid's fashion.

Possibly the most popular clothing brand for every age kid from tweens to babies is "Glamajama." This casual wear made from extremely soft, brushed cotton is comfortable and stylish. Glamajamas have a distinct glam rock appeal, with quirky slogans and metallic studs that keep kids comfy with a little humor. The matching lounge sets are very popular with celebrity moms.

"Crib Rock Couture" is another booming children's designer that has celebrities flocking. By combining nursery rhymes with hip rock 'n' roll designs, Crib Rock Couture is leading the industry in cool rock t-shirts and tees. Just like vintage wear is coming back in adult fashion, the Little Miss Muffet, the Three Blind Mice, and more classic nursery rhymes are coming back to give these hip Crib Rock Couture t-shirts a great throwback rock 'n' roll look. Just like the Glamajamas, they can be ordered online rather than having to travel to LA and shop on rodeo drive.

Online shopping opens up a world of fashion, especially for kid's clothes. So many of the top designers are located in LA and until recently could only be found in retail stores. Now, ordering online has made it possible for people all over the world to get their hands on the latest fashions without a trip to California. A prime example of this for children's wear is Fred Segal. Located on Melrose in LA, the Fred Segal department store is now available online. There are also a variety of retail vendors online who provide the latest in designer kid clothes. Lifesizkids.com is a great example of a retailer providing the best in trendy children's wear. As you search online, keep your eye out for names like True Religion, Oink Baby, Fortune Tees, Diesel, Bare Foot Dreams, and Angelic Genius. These are some of the top names in children's fashion, and if you get a chance to shop in LA, you will find many of these names on childrens clothes hangers in the upscale shops.

This is just the beginning of searching for children's fashion. Just because you might not have a celebrity budget or your own designer doesn't mean your kids can't dress that way. Keep your eye out for sales and online promotions. All of these innovative children's designers are offering specials and discounts constantly, so once you have found the style you are looking for, just keep shopping and you can find the perfect outfits.

Barbara's Ovarian Cancer Story, Part III

Happy Thanksgiving 2006

Barbara's continued Ovarian Cancer Story:

Its been two years since my last article and I have a lot to share with you. Presently, Im sitting in my cozy little office/guest room, in my cozy house on Whidbey Island, Washington. Rosie-the-cat is reclining on the windowsill and were both staring out at the wind-whipped trees and billowing, dark clouds being blown across the sky. Its very beautiful and Im very grateful to be here!

At my last writing, I had just completed eight cycles of heavy-duty chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer and was in remission, ready to celebrate a very special Thanksgiving with my family. (See articles 1 and 2 on the articles page at www.dstress.com.) Those holidays were wonderful. I felt healthy, had hair, was working and exercising and planning my retirement date, (September 2005), and subsequent move to our home in Washington. Being an inveterate planner/list-maker and worrier, I organized the retirement and move to within an inch of its life. I knew when my last day of work would be; how much vacation time I had on the books and what day wed be packing up. John made his plans to close his office and relocate his business. We were done with cancer and ready to move on! Well, as we all know, life has a way of not always going according to plan. We were about to be thrown a real curve-ball.

In March, we took a great trip to Arizona to celebrate my birthday. On the drive from Phoenix to Bisbee to visit friends, we marveled at the lush green desert, abloom with flowers after recent rains. Locals told us that this beauty lasted about two weeks before fading to gold and brown, and people had learned not to take it for granted. Well, thats true about anything, isnt it?

The day after we returned from our vacation, a message on the answering machine said a new suspicious mass had been found on my most recent CT scan, the one I had done before we left for Arizona. I was devastated and furious and terrified! I ranted and I raved and I screamed, scaring John and the cat. What about my plans? My retirement? Moving to my new home? What about my life? I dont want more surgery, more chemo! I dont want to lose my hair again! I feel fine and healthy- how can this be happening AGAIN? I had taken for granted that the first surgery and chemo had worked and I was cured. But in fact, 70-90% of people have recurrence at some point in time. I just didnt think I would be one of them. I had to completely let go of my carefully orchestrated master-plan and face this challenge head on.

June found me back at UCSF for major surgery for removal of a tumor that was very close, but not on, the liver. Because ovarian cancer cells tend to migrate to the spleen and gallbladder, they also removed those organs. I was lucky to have access to one of the best surgeons in the country and post-op reports stated that they had completely removed all the cancer! I used all the same tools to prepare pre op and postoperatively as I had for my first surgery and my recovery was good. I was home in five days and back to work in five weeks. I started chemo in July.

On December 1, 2005, I had my last chemo cycle. Other than a very low blood count (I was very anemic and my white count was very low), I tolerated the treatments fairly well. Acupuncture, visualization, exercise and supplements all played an important part in my work to stay as strong and healthy as possible. My hair thinned considerably, but I didnt have to wear wigs or cover-ups. With the particular drug regimen I was on, there is a 60% chance of hair loss. Before treatments started, I researched the web for any products that might minimize this side effect. I found a product called E.V.P.3 Chemaid. The website is:www.evp3.com. It provides good information and research so I decided to give it a try. I dont know if it was the chemaid, the different type of drugs regimen and dosage, supplements or all of the above, but I kept the majority of my hair. Seems like such a minor thing when you are fighting for your life. Yet sometimes those small things make a difference in quality of life. I felt that I looked healthier and normal and that translated into not feeling like a cancer patient.

The new year brought new resolution to finally make our plans to retire and move. My labs were good, my scans were clear and we moved to Whidbey Island in May. Weve been involved in projects ever since.

First on the agenda was painting the inside and the outside of the house. Just as John and I have been a good team in my healing process, weve made a good team in working on our home. And its been fun! We dug a garden using picks and shovels. We built planter boxes and created a Zen rock garden; we yanked out a huge juniper bush and planted roses and dahlias. At the end of the day we collapsed into recliners with such a good feeling of accomplishment. Ive never used my muscles like that before. Id be exhausted by 8pm-it was such a good kind of tired. One of my favorite activities was sitting in the dirt, pulling weeds. The sun on my shoulders, eagles soaring overhead, the smell of earth and flowers and growing things became a huge part of my healing process. I visualized my immune system plucking out and disappearing any unhealthy cells from my body with each weed I pulled. Working in the garden has become a wonderful meditation for me. I clear my mind and totally focus on the task at hand. Learning how to live in the moment is an ongoing lesson, and I have to continually find a balance between artful planning and my natural tendency to organize the future. Ive learned a greater appreciation of each sunrise and sunset. I notice the rhythm of my breathing and muscle movement when I walk and hike. I take time to pick up interesting bits of wood from the beach and decorate my garden with them. I revel in the love of my family and dear friends. I consciously practice NOT taking anything for granted and I try to live each moment joyfully. I have a favorite mantra that I recite to myself on my daily walks. thank you for all the blessings I enjoy; thank you for my health today; thank you for my family and friends; thank you for allowing me to spend time in this beautiful place; thank you for the gift of life! And wouldnt it be very, very nice if abundance cascades into my life and into those I love-abundance of health-physical, emotional and spiritual; and financial abundance.

I wish I could say that with all the meditation and mantras, I now lead a joyful, positive life. The truth is that I have my ups and downs; my incredibly joyful moments along with times of fear, sadness and anger. I go into worry-mode when its time for lab work and waiting for results. I get fearful about any new ache or pain (does this mean the cancer is back?) I vacillate between should I go ahead and spend money on redoing the kitchen now or keep that money in savings a little longer. Sometimes I feel caught between living in the moment and wanting to plan future projects for next year, two years from now, five years from now. And I still get angry that this happened to me, even though Ive learned many lessons in the past few years. One of the main lessons Im starting to grasp is that life is an act of faith. When I was planting the garden, I mostly put in vegetables and flowers that would reward me with bouquets and crops right away. My act of faith in the future was planting a cherry tree. My daily prayer is that Ill be around to enjoy the blossoms and pluck the cherries.

This year we will celebrate Thanksgiving in our new home. Well share our gratitude with friends and family; well feast and watch football; and well toast to health, happiness and prosperity. The garden hibernates now beneath a blanket of red and gold leaves. The tulips, daffodils and hyacinths I planted last week rest and wait until its their time to burst forth into colorful splendor. And I rest, write, clean closets and enjoy indoor projects as I wait for spring, when Ill burst out to nurture and be nurtured in my garden.

Heres to rainy days and warm fires NOW and digging in the dirt in the FUTURE.

Happy Thanksgiving
